At Breakthrough Adventures, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to discover their strength, purpose, and potential. Through transformative outdoor adventures and personal growth programs, we create life-changing experiences for youth in foster care, at-risk youth, and young people from under-resourced communities.
By stepping outside their everyday environments and into nature, participants gain the space to heal, build resilience, and develop confidence in themselves.
Our programs combine adventure, mentorship, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to encounter God’s love and discover their God-given worth, helping young people overcome challenges, build positive relationships, and realize that their future holds limitless possibilities.

Foster youth and young adults from under-resourced communities face unique challenges—trauma, instability, and limited access to supportive experiences. We create safe spaces where they can challenge themselves, build confidence, and discover their worth through adventure-based programs.
BEHIND BREAKTHROUGH ADVENTURES
Breakthrough Adventures is the culmination of more than three decades of ministry, nonprofit leadership, youth development, and mentoring.
For over 30 years, I have dedicated my life to helping young people and families discover hope, healing, and purpose. As a pastor, nonprofit CEO, executive director, hospice chaplain, mentor, and community leader, I have witnessed firsthand how caring relationships and challenging experiences transform lives.
Although Breakthrough Adventures is a new organization, it is built on decades of proven leadership, program development, and mentoring. I believe every young person deserves someone who believes in them—and that adventure is one of the most powerful tools for building confidence, resilience, and hope.
